Fulfilling a promise made to her late partner Pierre, MIRROR Art Duo: Creating an Art of the Soul tells the story of how they met, how they concluded their artistic collaboration, and everything else in between. As for "Somewhere Only We Know" — “We”, of course, means everyone.

Artist Workshop | Plants in Another Form
Letting Plants Grow Again in Handmade Paper
Plants are an important source of handmade paper, and paper, in turn, can become a medium for reshaping plants. In this workshop, artist Jia Qian introduces participants to handmade paper made from the bark of the paper mulberry tree. Participants will experience the texture and qualities of its natural fibres, and, by observing the outlines, structures and growth patterns of plants, explore how natural forms can be translated from one material into another.
Starting from a plant of their choice, participants will use cutting, collage and dyeing to build its veins and contours. In this process, paper is no longer just a flat surface for carrying images, but a material that can be shaped, bent and extended, allowing the plant to reappear in a new guise. Each finished piece becomes a unique record of nature, memory and personal feeling.
Drawing on Jia Qian's practice with handmade paper and fibre, the workshop invites participants to slow down, pay fresh attention to the subtle details of nature, and, through material transformation and personal interpretation, discover another life for plants in art.

Artist Workshop: The Space Between — Exploring Ink and Watercolour on Rice Paper
Join Rikki for a contemplative workshop exploring the delicate interplay of ink, watercolour and water on rice paper. Through gentle experimentation, participants are invited to slow down, observe the movement of pigments and embrace the unpredictable nature of the materials.
Drawing on Rikki’s intuitive artistic practice, participants create a series of abstract works, allowing forms to emerge through chance, fluidity and quiet observation.
